Connected for Caring
Making Care Easier (MCE) provides a permanent home for you and your family to coordinate care and maintain family relationships.
When you create your care team, reach out to everyone you want to share information with, ask for help from and who you would want to be an active part in helping you care for your parents or loved ones. Whether they are close by or thousands of miles away, Making Care Easier helps you identify ways that everyone can help. Remember caring isn't only providing medical assistance; caring is everything from household chores or making meals to buying new clothes when needed or taking someone to an appointment.
The family dashboard is your one-stop destination to find out what needs to be done and get information, how your loved one is feeling and to get suggestions for your specific caregiving situation.
The Care Center is the first place you can go to find out what's happening across your care group. See messages, care updates, tasks and any open issues your care team sends in one convenient place. The Take Action link lets you easily connect with your care team:
Tracking how your loved one is doing should be clear and easy. Anyone from your care team can quickly and easily share an update. Encourage your entire care team to report any of your loved ones physical or mental changes so you have a record of how their health is changing. Be sure to share this information with their doctors and professional caregivers.
How-to lists are a great place to get ideas how your care team can help be involved in caring. MCE offers recommendations based on your caregiving situation.
Visit the MCE Product Store to find products that help make caring easier. If you have products that you would like to suggestion, please e-mail us at products@MakingCareEasier.com.
Making Care Easier provides a secure location for you and your care team to store and share information. Whether it's an emergency or just finding someone to share caregiver duties for the day, being able to access information is critical to providing excellent care for your loved one.
Never put sensitive information online (such as banking account numbers, credit card numbers, social security numbers, etc.). Instead, create a secure location (such as a home safe or bank vault) where you can store important information and documents.
MCE provides sample emergency, daily care and medicine plans so you can share specific care directives with your entire care team. In addition, you can upload your own documents to share with your care team.
Make sure that your entire care team knows where to find and who to contact regarding important information.
MCE offers articles with important information and suggestions based on your specific caregiving situation.
All information that you share with your care group is shared only within your group. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information without your express consent unless we are required to do so in order to comply with any legal process. (see Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for more information).
Caring for loved ones should be a team effort and MCE helps you create a team to connect to you with friends and family. Use the Our Team section to invite new care team members and get contact information for current care team members.
To make caring easier, we want to find out what works for you. How do you communicate with your family? Are there tools that you would like to see (like ordering supplies online or being able to virtually check in)? What do you like or hope to see from MCE?
