How it Works

Making Care Easier (MCE) provides a permanent home for you and your family to coordinate care and maintain family relationships.

  • Create your care team - Invite family and friends to join your care team. Invite Care Team Members Now.
    An e-mail will be sent them inviting them to join. Once they accept, they will be part of your care team and will be able to view all information for your team, share care updates, send and receive requests for help and access stored information.
  • Get actionable how to lists and share personalized articles - Visit your dashboard for articles and actionable how to lists based on your needs.
  • Securely store information and communicate - Share care updates, important messages and information. Communications and information are securely stored and shared only with your care team.
  • Ask for Help - Whether you have a specific need or are looking for ideas how your team can help, MCE lets you easily ask for help and track requests from either your dashboard or in the Our Plan section.
  • Find and share solutions - From professional caregivers to products made to make caring easier, MCE can help you find solutions for your entire care team.

Who Should Be a Part of Your Care Team?

When you create your care team, reach out to everyone you want to share information with, ask for help from and who you would want to be an active part in helping you care for your parents or loved ones. Whether they are close by or thousands of miles away, Making Care Easier helps you identify ways that everyone can help. Remember caring isn't only providing medical assistance; caring is everything from household chores or making meals to buying new clothes when needed or taking someone to an appointment.


Dashboard

The family dashboard is your one-stop destination to find out what needs to be done and get information, how your loved one is feeling and to get suggestions for your specific caregiving situation.

Care Center

The Care Center is the first place you can go to find out what's happening across your care group. See messages, care updates, tasks and any open issues your care team sends in one convenient place.

  • Ask for Help - Whether you have a specific need or are looking for ideas how your team can help, MCE lets you easily ask for help and track requests.
  •  Manage a Calendar - Add Tasks and Appointments to your calendar for the entire care team to see.
  •  Send a Message - lets you send a message to any specific team member or the entire team at once.
  •  Request an Appointment - Send an e-mail to your professional caregiver to schedule an appointment.

Status Updates

Tracking how your loved one is doing should be clear and easy. Anyone from your care team can quickly and easily share an update. Encourage your entire care team to report any of your loved ones physical or mental changes so you have a record of how their health is changing. Be sure to share this information with their doctors and professional caregivers.

Emergency Plan

Be prepared for what's to come. Once you create your emergency plan, you can download it online or on your mobile app when and where you need it.

My Lists

My lists are a great place to get ideas how your care team can help be involved in caring. MCE offers recommendations based on your caregiving situation.

Documents

Making Care Easier provides a secure location for you and your care team to store and share information. Whether it's an emergency or just finding someone to share caregiver duties for the day, being able to access information is critical to providing excellent care for your loved one.

Never put sensitive information online (such as banking account numbers, credit card numbers, social security numbers, etc.). Instead, create a secure location (such as a home safe or bank vault) where you can store important information and documents.

Care Plans

MCE provides sample emergency, daily care and medicine plans so you can share specific care directives with your entire care team. In addition, you can upload your own documents to share with your care team.

External Document Notes

Make sure that your entire care team knows where to find and who to contact regarding important information.

Privacy

All information that you share with your care group is shared only within your group. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information without your express consent unless we are required to do so in order to comply with any legal process. (see Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for more information).

The professional dashboard lets you see your clients activities and communicate with your clients and their families.

Communication Center

The Communication Center is for you to send and receive communications from your clients and their families. In one spot, see messages, product requests and appointment requests. Strengthening communication strengthens and can help lengthen client relationships.

The action buttons let you manage your client communications, view your team and send marketing messages:

  • Our Clients - invite new clients and see current clients and their care team members.
  • Manage Account - lets you see everyone who has registered as a member of your company and to edit information about your company.
  • Marketing Tools - takes you to the Our Clients section so you can e-mail individual clients or entire care teams.

Our Clients

With MCE, you can reach out to not only your client, but everyone within your client team. Once you invite new clients and they open an MCE account, they invite their friends and family to join MCE to create their care team. MCE helps you e-mail and connect to all members of the care team.
